Los Rios, SJC

If you are ever in San Juan Capo area, you should check out the Mission and Los Rios Street, one of the oldest residential areas in Orange County.  There are shops, restaurants and an art gallery so charming, you'd never want to leave.  Inside the gallery, you'll find lots of professional arts from professional artists.

Above:  A contemporary look of the Mission.  A series of 3... 12x4x1 1/2 gallery wrapped canvas pieces in acrylic.

Bellow:  A collage painting of the Cottage Gallery on Los Rios and things around it, acrylic on a 20x16 wrapped canvas.

Series of 3 Hummingbirds

14x11x1/2" panel boards, gave me the grounds to paint some hummingbirds on them.  I call the series "3 hums" for short.   They are the cutest birds humming around my garden, just delightful!

Series of 4 horses or not

I had 4 of 12x12 canvas in my car and a brush and a few tubes of paint one day as I was traveling to Malibu.  It so happened I had some time to paint and I started putting paint on those canvases set next to one another.  One looked to me like a body of a horse that needed a head so I painted that in and the rest the painting process took care of itself :)

The two top ones without an obvious indication of horse's heads didn't quite need any but complement the two at the bottom so why mess with it?

Signs of Peace

I use white flowers often to refer to Peacefulness and serenity.  This one, I called "Signs of Peace" because I believe it will relay the idea of calm to the other people just as well, or at least, I hope!

Aquasource 5

The fifth of the series, another 36x24x1 1/2 acrylic on canvas.

Seems popular and such a joy it was to paint it.

The Purple Flower

Well, it's been a while, I know!  But meanwhile I've been painting despite so many changes.

Here's one of mine painted in February 2017:
