Sugar Tree and Monarck butterflies

Inspired by my visit to SJC Mission today and the monarch butterflies flying around the gorgeous garden there, I painted this painting in acrylic on a 24x24x 1 1/2 canvas and called it  "The Sugar Tree".

SJC Swallow

The San Juan Capo Swallows usually come once a year around 20th of March.  Some of them stay behind and hang out around the Mission.  Here's one that I saw today enjoying the grapes that grow there.

Here's a quick painting of it today, in 3 minutes.  Acrylic on watercolor paper, makes it permanent.

Friendly Hum

An acrylic on a 24x24x1 1/2 gallery wrap canvas.

I got up one morning itching to paint the image that came to me during the night before.  Had to be recorded somehow, I felt like working with acrylics and here's the result.

Distant view of Dana Point

This painting is the result of a leisurely drive along the PCH.  When I got to the Camino San Clemente intersection, noticed those gorgeous palm trees visible in front of a faint image of Dana Point in the distance.

This painting was done in liquid acrylics.  20x16 on yupo.

Silver Fish

I used liquid acrylics on a previously  poured on water colors, a mixed media on 16x20 Archie's watercolor paper.  A successful experimentation, it worked!

Love it myself, if I may say so!  Gives me a sense of peace and calm.

Humming birds on Local Flowers

Watercolor on rice paper matted arts.

Here I have a hummingbird  on cannas and one on poppies.

Above and Bellow

More on animals:  Eagle soaring above us and Fish swimming bellow.

Both are done in acrylics, different techniques.
